A note from James Woods

Hello, Everybody -

I'm sitting here, fresh from being knocked out 79th from the Hollywood Poker Challenge and I'm grinning from ear to ear. I can't think of any time in recent memory when I've been busted and felt this good! The reason is obvious, of course - The Hollywood Poker Challenge was every thing it was supposed to be and then some!

It was supposed to be a celebrity studded tournament with the best freeroll prize ever in online poker - Check!

It was supposed to be a fierce competition - Check!

It was supposed to be a chance to meet some celebrities who love poker and bust them out - Check!

What came as an extra added bonus was how unbelievably gracious and fun our clients were. I have never enjoyed meeting my fans so much. Could it be the unique setting of tournament poker, where you get to chat with and play against your fans (and new friends!) at the same time? Is it my imagination, or did everybody seem to have a whale of a time? Even our clients who, because of first time glitches, didn't get to play were extremely gracious and understanding. We will be offering an even more exciting tournament opportunity to them soon as a way of saying sorry and thanks for your patience.

I hope you all share my enthusiasm for this event. I had a ball and I want to thank my brother Mike, all the staff at Hollywood Poker, all of our celebrity friends, and most of all, our Hollywood Poker Members.
